Hussain Sagar Hyderabad

                   Hussain Sagar is a lake in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, engineered by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali in 1562, during the rule of patriarch Quli Qutb Shah. It was 5.7 sq. kilometres engineered on a tributary of the stream Musi to meet the water and irrigation wants of the town. There’s an outsized monolithic statue of the Gautam Buddha within the middle of the lake that was erected in 1992. At the top of the Hussain Sagar one will find the masjid and Dargah of Sayedani Maa tomb.

Hussain Sagar History:
