Mecca Masjid Hyderabad

Mecca masjid (Arabic: ‎and Urdu:
                            also Makkah masjid, is one in all the oldest mosques in Hyderabad, Andhra pradesh, India, And it’s one in all the most important Mosques in India. Makkah masjid may be a listed heritage building within the previous city of Hyderabad, near the historic landmarks of Chowmahalla Palace, Laad Bazaar, and Charminar.

 Mecca masjid History:
Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi family, commissioned bricks to be made up of the soil brought from Mecca, the holiest site of Islam, and used them within the construction of the central arch of the mosque, so giving the masjid its name. It fashioned the centerpiece around that town was planned by Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah.
