Kote Venkataramana Temple Bangalore


                              Kote Venkataramana Temple may be a Hindu temple in Krishnarajendra Road, Bangalore, India. This temple devoted to the Lord Venkateshwara (Vishnu Avatar). The Kote Venkataramana Temple was built in 1689 A.D. in Vijayanagara and Dravidian and architecture by King Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar and after r Mysore rulers also.

Kote Venkataramana Temple Architecture:
                       The late 17th century Venkataramana temple is found near the old fort (“fort” is kote in Kannada language) adjacent to what was once the residence of Mysore Wodeyars royal family and after occupied the palace of Tipu sultan and after Mysore rulers Kingdom. The temple consists of a sanctum (garbhagriha) that’s connected to a central hall (mantapa) by a vestibule. The walls of the sanctum and vestibule (antechamber) are plain apart from a row of god sculptures in frieze at the bottom. On the whole the temple exudes modest decorative work and follows the general plan utilised in the temples inside the of palace complex in Mysore. The hall ceiling is supported by pillars that have “clusters of colonettes” alternating with yalis (mythical beasts from Hindu legend) in all four directions. This appears on each of the central columns. the most festival celebrated here is Vaikuntha Ekadashi once thousands of devotees crowed the temple.

                       The Venkataramana Temple constructed by completely hard granite rocks. The temple is very large and very beautiful sculptures in the temple. In main temple mandapam every pillar has different shape and 4 type of shape molded in each pillar. Very large hall and garbagudi is very beautiful constructed, the god vernkateswara swamy is very beautiful adorns very valuable jewels. The temple is very old and very famous in Bangalore. Many more peoples came from different places to this temple as well as many more tourist also came to this temple.
                 
                     Peoples belive the god lard venkateswara swamy avatar of Vishnu, if we believed once many more problems also automatically resolve. Many more people believe if start any work like job, business and education what they want to do first they will come to this temple during pujas after they will start the work it will go to success. Here every year celebrating grand festivals and pujas that day’s very important of god lord Venkateswara (Vishnu).
