Shivasamudra is a small town in the Mandya District of the state of Karnataka, India. it’s located on the banks of the river Kaveri, that forms here the boundary to the Chamarajanagar District, and is the location of one of the primary Hydro-electric Power stations in Asia, that was discovered in the year 1902.
